Illustrations

 In my studio practice, my illustrations serve as personal cosmologies. They are stories of Queer creation. They are imaginative worlds that exist beyond what we know and where we are. The illustrations are a space where Queer bodies are radically empowered instead of marginalized. I model these spaces to imagine a world where Queer bodies can exist safely and to explore the mythical power I assign and imbue in my metal smithing through the practice of adornment. There is little-to-no space left within these compositional landscapes; I aim to fill the page completely to leave no space unclaimed by the power of the mythical Queer. These scenes serve to visualize the TRANSformative properties of adornment.
